Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980. She's a singer/actress from the USA. Bell is an Michigan native born and was raised by her parents Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) as well as Tom Bell (a TV news director). Kristen is born in Polish descent (mother) as well as German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen discovered her talents in the world of entertainment at a young age. She won her role as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after attending her first audition. Bell aged 13 when her mom signed to become an agent was cast on ads on newspapers and TV. She also started taking private acting classes at that time. Bell was in a role of minor importance, uncredited for her part in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School and was part of music and the drama club. She was a part of Dorothy in the high-school production in The Wizard of Oz. Bell went to The Tisch School of the Arts in New York City, where she studied Musical Theatre within New York City. Bell quit the school in 2001 and began playing Becky, a character from Tom Sawyer. It was also in 2001 that Bell made her first appearance in a film that was credited to her, Pootie Tang (2002). The scene she appeared in is cut off and only the credits depict her. Bell was on Broadway in The Crucible, a revival that featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
