She was born Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on the 9th July 1983. The first job she had after school was working in the field of real estate. She was introduced to Tarek Al Moussa in the real estate industry. In 2008, following the crash of the stock market, the real estate market was hit hard by investors and house flippers lost their money. Tarek El Moussa as well as Christina Moussisa went under because of. The couple went from a $6,000 monthly home to a $700/month apartment. Slowly, their business and the overall economy recovered. HGTV and Rise to Fame Tarek enlisted his friend to aid in making an HGTV video audition in 2011. The tape showed Tarek as well as Christina working together to turn a house. Pie Town Productions, a production company in New York City got the tape. They fell in love Tarek and Christina. The deal was agreed by the couple and HGTV. "Flip of Flop" w premiered in April of 2013. Over the course of seven seasons, this show aired from 2013 to 2017. On the show, Christina and Tarek would buy properties, typically homes with a moderate income located in Orange County, and would then proceed to spend several months making improvements so that they could flip the property for a profit. Tarek's primary focus is deconstruction and renovating, while Christina concentrates on design.
